AAPHI Scholar Foluke Oyawole to participate in UD's Colors of Old College, February 2025

“Colors of Old College” (Old College Galleries, February 4 – June 4, 2025) and the “Colors, Land and Building: Old College and Delaware (Recitation Hall Gallery, February 17 – March 29, 2025.)  This immersive exhibition promises to be a vibrant celebration of the rich history and cultural legacy of Old College, showcasing an array of historical artifacts, interactive display and artworks across several galleries in Old College Building and Recitation Hall. All alumni, Blue Hen friends, and community members are warmly invited to attend this special event, where they will have the opportunity to engage with the exhibition in a unique and personal way. DETAILS

The event will feature a series of insightful gallery talks, building tours and live performances, offering a deeper understanding of the stories and significance behind the works on display. The activities will begin at 2:30 PM and continue throughout the day, culminating in an evening reception and additional performances at both Old College and Recitation Hall. This event is a wonderful opportunity to immerse yourself in the artistic and historical offerings of Old College and celebrate the lasting impact this institution has had on generations of students.

2:30–3:30 PM: Telling Stories with Objects: Curators Connect at Old College Room 212

3:30–4:30 PM: Building and Gallery Talks at Old College (Foluke Oyawole)

4:30–5:00 PM: Old College Comes to Life: An Immersive Experience of Art, Music, Theatre, and Dance at Recitation Hall Gallery

5:00–6:30 PM: Celebratory Reception at Old College

6:30–7:30 PM Performances: Immersions through Words, Sounds, Dances
